Course Title
*Image Management For Individuals:
A Life-Skills Course For Young Men & Women
This curriculum is appropriate for a general education self-improvement
course open to all students, or as first year course required for
students in Family and Consumer Science and students preparing for
a fashion-related career. The forerunner for this curriculum was
Wardrobe Strategies for Women by Judith Rasband and published
by Delmar, adopted at many schools and colleges. Content on visual
design in dress and wardrobing is ideal in the field, with concepts
and charts adopted in other subject-related college level textbooks.
Expanded chapters with illustrations for men and women are available
through Conselle. Content includes casual dress/business casual
issues not addressed in other textbooks. New textbook in progress
expands information on the behavioral and artistic aspects of dress
and image. Your input is invited.
Additional teaching materials are available in the Bookstore
and include:
Personal/Professional Style Scale Leaflet
